SAGE Announces New Board Members

Two new Trustees join SAGE

SUMMIT, NJ – SAGE Eldercare, a non profit organization which serves older adults and their caregivers in New Jersey, is pleased to welcome Adam Psichos and Michael Ventura to the Board of Trustees. Psichos is a former Trustee of SAGE (2011-2014). He will now serve as Treasurer along with Assistant Treasurer Claire Toth. A resident of Summit since 1996, Psichos is Managing Director of the Glenmede Investment and Wealth Management office in Morristown. He attended undergraduate school at Franklin and Marshall where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature. He received a Master’s Degree in Liberal Studies and Economics from New York University in 1996. His wife, Clelia Biamonti, PhD, is the Executive Director of the Overlook Foundation. They have a son, George. Michael Ventura is the founder and Managing Partner of Ventura, Miesowitz, Keough & Warner, in Summit, which he established in 1981. He was an undergraduate at Boston College and graduated from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1978.

Ventura lives in Murray Hill with his wife Robin, a retired attorney and Past President of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. They have three adult children, (Marisa Poisler, August and Robert), and their first grandchild, Emily. An active community volunteer for years (he co-founded Save A Life Foundation and The Friends of the Child Advocacy Center of Union County), Ventura is thrilled to join SAGE’s Board. “Volunteer service has been an important part of our family values. I have always been impressed with SAGE’s reputation and dedication to providing quality care and services for the elderly. I am honored to be a part of this fine organization and look forward to becoming an active participant in their good work.”

The Executive Committee consists of Summit residents Christopher Cotter of Cotter Strategies who will remain Board President, Christine Gottesman, Esq., of Nukk-Freeman & Cerra, P.C. who will continue on as Vice President, Adam Psichos will serve as Treasurer and Claire E. Toth, will serve as Assistant Treasurer. Kathy Clingan of Chatham will remain Board Secretary.
