NFC STANDS IN SOLIDARITY WITH OUR JEWISH TEAM MEMBERS, CLIENTS, AND COMMUNITIES.

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

NFC has been built on the principle of embracing diversity within our firm as well as our communities. It is because of our strong commitment to equity that we must speak out against injustices affecting individuals from different backgrounds and experiences.

In recent weeks, there has been a disturbing rise in antisemitism throughout our country that must be addressed. NFC forcefully condemns antisemitic hate speech and violence of any kind – just as we condemn all acts of prejudice, discrimination, and racism. The vicious attacks unfairly targeting the Jewish community because of heritage and/or religion must stop.

To understand antisemitism, we encourage you to watch this comprehensive, 11 minute video from UC Berkeley: https://youtu.be/e9SQrIdlaVE.

SUPPORT THE CAUSE

EDUCATE YOURSELF AND OTHERS

The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance has a comprehensive definition of antisemitism that has been adopted by many countries around the world. It includes several examples of conduct that is not political criticism of Israel but clear antisemitism, like holding Jews collectively responsible for the actions of the state of Israel. The Anti-Defamation League similarly has useful resources on the topic.
