Mibs Wagner
Mibs Wagner joined NFC in July 2008, as PR/Marketing Director charged with brand name recognition by creating memorable events, designing print, applying for award designations, and generating press. Ms. Wagner’s successful years as senior level development, marketing, sales and public relations manager in both the non-profit and corporate sectors have brought significant results with the Firm receiving 12 national and local award recognitions while hosting three major events during the past two years.

As Director of Development for five years at Bergen Family Center, Hackensack, NJ, Mibs coordinated and planned fund raising events and efforts to reach the $5.2 m annual budget. Event revenue grew by more than 240% through four special events yearly. She was responsible for brand name recognition and pursued corporate sponsorships, as well as enhancing relationships with key community leaders. During her 13 years at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ, Mibs progressed from resource manager of 22 nursing units and responsibility for 53 unit secretaries to Community Outreach Coordinator. There, she “sold” the Occupational Health Services to businesses, servicing 13,000 employees with 600% growth within two years. Progressing to Director of Volunteers, Mibs managed 700 volunteers, recruiting 180 volunteers/year; she created the Pre-Med program, the Volunteer Orientation video, and the “customer service” programs including Pet Therapy, Clowns on Call, Friendly Visitors, the quarterly newsletter, and Bring Your Children to Work. As Manager of Corporate and Community Relations for three years, she developed “SummerFest!” This “county fair” evolved into a summer festival of 40 organizations, 35,000 attendees, and became a major Bergen County highlight for three years. In addition, Mibs created the Tree of Lights Remembrance Program, represented the hospital at all major corporate events and meetings, and worked collaboratively with the Holy Name Hospital Foundation staff on million dollar fund raising projects.
