Claudia Lechtman has over 20 years of experience working in all aspects of direct marketing. Since 1998, Claudia has been the owner of Claudia Lechtman Consulting, providing marketing expertise to both small and large businesses across a variety of industries. Claudia has developed highly successful web and direct marketing programs from conception to completion for B2B services, consumer products and entertainment media. Clients have included Columbia House/BMG, GoodTimes Entertainment, audiobookclub.comsm, and Continuiti Interim HR Professionals. Prior to consulting, Claudia spent six years at Columbia House/BMG and left in 1998 as Director of Marketing for the Video Clubs. While at Columbia House, Claudia was instrumental in initiating, developing, and branding Columbia House’s e-commerce strategy. Ms. Lechtman also held responsibility for four multi-million dollar negative option businesses, was a key player on the company’s new business development team, and launched many new brands including their highly successful DVD Club. Claudia began her career in direct marketing in 1989 for Newbridge Communications, Inc., previously owned by Macmillan Publishing, in the Educational Continuities division.
