- Consulting on the design, implementation and operation of numerous executive compensation arrangements, such as equity and traditional deferred compensation plans for US and foreign national employees.
- Consulting on design, implementation and operation of retirement plans (SERPS, 401(k), pensions), including alternative planning for foreign national employees.
- Performing due diligence and transition consulting with respect to executive compensation and benefit arrangements in corporate transaction.
- Identifying and correcting operational defects or fiduciary violations in accordance with government sanctioned correction programs and representing plan sponsors before the Internal Revenue Service and the U.S. Department of Labor.
- Consulting on fringe benefit and welfare plan design and operations, including HIPAA and COBRA compliance and payroll reporting.
- Supporting client human resources executives in creating business case for changes in compensation and benefit plan design, including competitor data and cost analysis.
- Reviewing executive compensation and severance arrangements for compliance with the American Jobs Creation Act of 2004 (409A) and creating action plans to ensure compliance.
- Establishing administrative procedures and guidelines for employee benefit plans.
- Analyzing and providing written opinions on complex tax and ERISA issues in connection with employee benefit plans.
