Diane E. Sugrue brings over ten years of in-house counsel experience to Nukk-Freeman & Cerra. She has significant experience in counseling clients in all aspects of labor and employment law on a national basis, including employment discrimination, harassment, employee benefits and corporate restructuring. She has worked closely with senior management and Boards of Directors to provide advice and risk analysis on a variety of employment related matters. As a former global compliance officer, she has a wealth of experience in structuring the scope and timing of conducting efficient and effective internal workplace investigations as well as executing strategies upon the conclusion of investigations. Ms. Sugrue has trained thousands of employees over her career on topics including Business Ethics and Compliance with Law, Recognizing and Preventing Sexual Harassment, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the Family and Medical Leave Act.

Before joining the firm, Ms. Sugrue served as the Global Compliance Officer for Ingersoll Rand Company, a multinational diversified industrial firm. Prior to that she served in several positions with the Novartis Group over a span of nine years, including the Vice President of Employment Law and Litigation for the Novartis Consumer Health division.
